Viticulture:
Climate: The early ripening season was warm and dry, followed by a cool autumn. This results in good yields, with intense fruit flavours.
Soils: Silty loam
Training: Standard vertical trellis
Tasting Notes: Colour: Pale straw
Nose: Lifted nettle, white currant and red capsicum with chalk and passionfruit undertones.
Palate: A full flavoured and weighty wine, filled with intense varietal fruit flavours that linger on the long, crisp acid finish.
Cellaring: 1-2 years
Serve: Lightly chilled

This wine is particularly well suited to seafood dishes, poultry dishes or summer salads

Winemaking:
The grapes were machine harvested in cool morning conditions to minimise the pick up of any phenolics. The clear juice was then racked and cold fermented using selected yeast strains to preserve the fruit?s intense varietal flavours.
